Abstract
A dual band diversity antenna for PCS and WiMAX bands is proposed and designed with compact dimension. The proposed diversity antenna consists of two dual‐band PIFAs arranged front to front with the same structure. With polarization diversity, jointed shorting structure, and suspended line, the proposed antenna gives high radiation efficiency (>50%), high isolation (>15 dB), and low correlation coefficient (ρ~e~ < 0.05. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
