HFC-134a is an important chlorofluorocarbon replacement which degrades in the atmosphere to give CF 3 CFHO radicals. Hasson et al. [1] have studied the fluorine atom initiated oxidation of HFC-134a and reported values for the rate constant ratio k 1 /k 2 at 700 Torr total pressure and 298 -357 K.
