## Abstract This contribution comprises two parts, the one covering some variables in the dry‐packing of columns for liquid chromatography, the other the use of an automatic dry‐packer in liquid chromatography. A high‐pressure stainless steel column was dry‐packed using a 20‐44 μm size, irrregularl
