✦ Synopsis

Unirnolecular dissociation of Arz into Ari was investigated with a double focusing sector field mass spectrometer. Ar; was produced by electron impact ionization of Ar3 formed by nozzle expansion. It was found that the m&stable dissociation rate is strongly dependent on the sragnation gas temperature.
