## Abstract Design of a microstrip‐line‐feed slot‐coupled cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) for circular polarization (CP) is investigated experimentally. The occurrence of the two orthogonal near‐degenerate resonant modes is mainly excited by a perturbed annular slot that is, a C‐shap
## Abstract A circularly polarized cylindrical dielectric resonance antenna excited by two conformal strips of unequal lengths is studied experimentally. By using unequal strip lengths, two nearly degenerate orthogonal modes are excited and circularly polarized fields are generated. The measured re
## Abstract A single‐fed circularly polarized dielectric resonator antenna is analyzed numerically. The element is a perturbed rectangular dielectric resonator excited by a coaxial probe and is used in a four‐element planar array. Different arrangements and excitations for the elements are used to

## Abstract The circularly polarized cross‐slot‐coupled hemi‐ellipsoidal dielectric resonator antenna (HEDRA) is studied in this letter. Reasonable agreement between simulation and measurement is obtained. A HEDRA is demonstrated, which has a 10‐dB impedance bandwidth (__S__~11~ < −10 dB) of 15.4%
