โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
A circular wireโloop antenna of 1.042ฮป~0~ circumference at 1 GHz with 4:1 balun and stepped wire diameter is presented in this Letter. A fixed Eโfield beam offset from broadside of โ7.5ยฐ is demonstrated with a VSWR of 1.17 at 1 GHz. The antenna has an operational bandwidth of 29% for VSWR < 2 and an estimated gain of 1.24 dB. ยฉ 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract Two new configurations of circular wire mesh and annular ring monopole antennas have been investigated and the results are compared with the corresponding circular disc monopole antenna. For the wire mesh monopole antenna of diameter 26 cm with peripheral metal strip, the measured bandw
The circular loop antenna is analysed by using the electric ยฎeld integro-dierential equation in the frequency domain. The weak form of the integro-dierential is derived and then the current distribution along the circular loop antenna is calculated by solving the resulting equation via the ยฎnite ele
## Abstract In this paper, we present the results of numerical and experimental investigations of a prospective antenna which can be used, for example, as a baseโstation antenna in cellular telecommunication systems. The antenna is a halfโwavelength dipole surrounded by periodically arranged capaci
An analysis of arbitrary thin-wire loop antennas and scatterers using periodic orthogonal wavelets is presented. The periodic orthogonal wavelet expansion is applied to solve the thin-wire version of the electric-field integral equation (EFIE). The curved solution domains are mapped into the definit
