## Abstract The kinetics of the reactions of [Pt(dipic)(H~2~O)] and [Pt(digly)(H~2~O)] (where H~2~dipic = pyridineβ2,6βdicarboxylic acid and H~2~digly = glycylglycine) with oxalate ion were studied at 25Β°C in aqueous medium by UVβvis spectroscopy at __I__ = 0.1 mol dm^β3^ over an wide range of pH.
