✦ Synopsis

The enantiomers of several 9-fluorenyl derivatives have been successfully resolved by HPLC on a chiral stationary phase (CSP) based on a mixed 10-undecenoate/3,5dimethylphenylcarbamate of cellulose bonded to allylsilica gel. Previous attempts at resolution, such as NMR methods, GC and the use of a multiple interaction type chiral column for HPLC, were unsuccessful.
