✦ Synopsis

In the title compound, [Pd(C~4~H~10~NO)Cl(C~4~H~11~NO)], the geometry around the Pd atom, which is coordinated by one O, one Cl and two N atoms, is square-planar, with the N atoms trans to each other. One deprotonated N,N-dimethylaminoethanol (dmaeH) molecule acts as a bidentate ligand, while the other is coordinated through the N atom only. The structure displays O—H...O hydrogen bonding.
