โฆ Synopsis
A new class of chiral dinuclear ligands with phthalazine bridged bisoxazoline scaffold was designed and prepared in convenient synthetic routes. 1 H NMR analysis showed that this class of ligands could coordinate with two metal ions, either same or different. These ligands afforded good to excellent yields and enantioselectivities in Cu-catalyzed conjugate addition of ZnEt 2 to enones.

A series of new bulky monophosphite ligands were synthesized from axially chiral BINOL and highly sterically hindered adamantanecarbonyl chloride. These ligands were applied to the Cu-catalyzed asymmetric 1,4-conjugate addition of diethylzinc to cyclic enones and were found to have moderate enantios
