X-Ray Diffraction Study of LnMMn 2 O 5.5 (Ln: La, Nd; M: Ca, Ba).

-X-ray studies indicate that the title compounds LnMMn 2 O 5.5 , prepared by solid state reaction of stoichiometric mixtures of Mn 2 O 3 , Ln 2 O 3 and MCO 3 , crystallize in the cubic system (perovskite type, space group Pm3m).
