Unusual Nitration of Substituted 7-Amino-1,8-naphthyridine in the Synthesis of Compounds with Antiplatelet Activity.

-If higher amounts than 0.2-0.25 equivalents of NaNO 2 are used for the title reaction decreased yields of the nitro compounds are observed. Mechanistical aspects are also discussed on the basis of theoretical calculations. -(FERRARINI, P.
