## Abstract Three new phenylpropanoid compounds, named nervolans Aโ€“C (**1**โ€“**3**, resp.), together with two other known phenylpropanoids, coniferyl diangelate and sinapyl diangelate, were isolated from the aerial parts of __Inula nervosa__ Wall. (Asteraceae), a traditional Chinese medicinal plant.
