โฆ Synopsis
tert-Butylsulfonyl (Bus), a New Protecting Group for Amines.
tert-Butylsulfonyl is found to be an efficient protecting group for primary and secondary amines. It is stable to strong bases and metalation conditions and can be easily removed by mild acidic solvolysis. Interestingly, secondary sulfonamides can be selectively cleaved in the presence of primary ones. -
