β¦ Synopsis
Synthesis, Structures and Biological Activity of Some 4-Amino-3cinnolinecarboxylic Acid Derivatives.
-The influence of substituents in cinnoline and amide residue of a new set of the title derivatives (X) is investigated. Furthermore, a new method for the synthesis of acids (II) and hydroxycinnolines (III) is presented. The derivative (VII) of pyrimidocinnoline is prepared in two ways. Some of the amides show antiserotoninergic activity (e.g. ( Xc)). Derivatives such as (Xd) exhibit analgesic activity, and introduction of trimethoxyphenyl-and pyrrolidinoethyl group to target amides (Xb), (Xf) introduces anticonvulsive properties.
