## Abstract Some novel substitutedโ€3โ€{[(1__E__)โ€(substitutedโ€2โ€furyl)โ€methylene]amino}quinazolinโ€4(3__H__)โ€one (**5, 6, 7**) **aโ€“f** were synthesized by a multiโ€step process.
