✦ Synopsis

Synthesis of C-Disaccharides via Glucal Dimerization. -Treatment of 3-O-acetyl glucals with acetyl perchlorate gives the corresponding dimeric C-disaccharides with high diastereoselectivity at the new C-C bond.
