Synthesis of 4-Substituted 1-((2,3-Dihydroxy-1-propoxy)methyl)-1Hpyrazolo (3,4-d)pyrimidines.

-The regioselective synthesis of a series of acyclonucleosides of pyrazolopyrimidines (cf. (IV), (V), (VII), (IX)) is described. The obtained compounds are evaluated for their cytotoxicity and anti-HIV activity, but significant activity is not detected. -(TAHA, M. L.;
