✦ Synopsis

Synthesis and α1-Antagonist Activity of New Prazosin-and Benextramine-Related Tetraamine Disulfides. -The title compounds of type (I), prepared by standard procedures, display marked selectivity at α1-adrenoceptors. In contrast to prazosin and benextramine (I) shows an 11-fold selectivity for α 1B-adrenoceptors.
