Synthesis and Isomerism of Unsymmetrical Azines on the Basis of 3-Methyl-2-benzothiazolinone Hydrazone.

-The stereochemistry of unsymmetrical azines, prepared by reaction of carbonyl compounds (II) and (IV) with benzothiazolinone hydrazone (I), is studied with NMR-techniques. Depending on the carbonyl compound used, the azines exist as pure syn,synisomers (III) or as a mixture of two diastereomers (V) in solutions.
