Synthesis and Diuretic Activity of 2,3-Dihydro-4(1H)-quinolinone 4-Oxime-O-sulfonic Acid Derivatives.

-On the basis of the known compound M12285, different types of derivatives such as (IV), (VIII), and (XIII) are prepared. The most promising compound (VIII) (M17055) is the best for development of diuretic activity and is chosen for a more detailed pharmacological characterization.
