Synthesis and Characterization of New

-The title hydrate is synthesized by reaction of KNO 2 with SbF 3 (molar ratio 0.5:1 to 5:1) in water at room temperature. The new compound crystallizes in the rhombic system and appears to be isostructural to NaM 2 SbF 5 -type compounds. Spectral and thermal properties of the hydrate are studied.
