Syntheses of Novel Glycosylidene-spiro-heterocycles Related to Hydantocidin. -Both anomers (III) and (IV), representing the first examples of glycosyl thiocyanates with a quaternary anomeric center, are prepared by reaction of bromide (I) with either KSCN or AgSCN. They are resistent to isomerizatio
