Synthesis, Thermal Investigations and Solubility of a New Double Salt K2Mg(IO3)4•2H2O. -The novel title salt is prepared either by addition of a stoichiometric amount of Mg(IO3)2•4H2O to a saturated solution of KIO3 at 40 • C or by desalination with EtOH of mixed 1% Mg( IO3)2 and 3% KIO3 solutions.
