β¦ Synopsis
Studies on Disease-Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs: Synthesis of Novel Quinoline and Quinazoline Derivatives and Their Antiinflammatory Effect.
-A variety of compounds such as (V) (20 examples) and (IX) (7 examples) are synthesized and their structure-activity relationships examined with regard to the antiinflammatroy effect in rats with adjuvant arthritis. Most of these compounds exhibit a potent effect with (IX) being the most effective one. It is selected as a candidate for further investigations.
