The First Chiral Early-Late Heterobimetallic Complex -A Titanium(IV)-Palladium(II) Complex Based on Salenophos. -An improved synthesis of salenophos (X) starting from salicylaldehyde in six steps and 20% overall yield is presented. Treatment with Ti(O-iPr)4 in toluene and then PdI2 in CH2Cl2 affords
