Stereospecific Synthesis of Cyclic Hydrazoacetic Acids and meso-Diaminodicarboxylic Acids.

-Using a hetero-Diels-Alder reaction to compounds such as (III) as the key step the title acids such as (VI), (VIII), and (X) are synthesized. It is noteworthy that the direct transformation of (Vc) to (VIc) gives partial epimerization to the trans-series. -(ARAKAWA, Y.;
