Stable, Free, Dianionic Silicon-Carbon Clusters.

-Theoretical investigations (HF-SCF) on the electronic and structural stability of the cluster anions (I) and (II) show that both clusters exhibit vertical as well as adiabatic electronic stability and, hence, should be observable by mass spectrometry.
