โฆ Synopsis
Simplified Analogues of Ritanserin and Their Affinity at 5-HT 2A , 5-HT 2B , and 5-HT 2C Serotonin Receptors. -A variety of derivatives of 4-[bis(4-fluorophenyl)methylene]piperidine (I) are synthesized and evaluated for their affinity at 5-HT serotonin receptors. The compounds (I) show lower binding affinity than the parent compound ritanserin thus demonstrating that the thiazolepyrimidinone moiety of ritanserin seems to be necessary for binding interaction at 5-HT receptors.
