Ruthenium-Mediated Amidation of Saturated C-H Bonds and Crystal Structure of a Bis(tosyl)amidoruthenium(III) Complex of 1,4,7-Trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane.

-Title compound (II) is prepared and its structure is determined by X-ray analysis. This complex (II) is used as reagent and as catalyst for the amidation of saturated C-H bonds of reactants, e.g. (I), giving sulfur amides (III).
