โฆ Synopsis
Reactions of 4-Azacholest-5-en-3-one, 6-Azacholest-4-en-7-one, and Their N-Methyl Derivatives with Electrophilic Reagents.
-The reaction of steroidal ene-lactams (I), (IV), and (VI) with electrophilic reagents such as bromine, CrO3 and acyl nitrate (VII) is studied. The products are produced via initial electrophilic attack on the terminal carbon of the enamide system and in some cases by further reactions at the allylic position.
