β¦ Synopsis
Photochemical Deposition of ZnS from the Gas Phase and Simultaneous Luminescence Detection of Photofragments from a Single-Source Precursor, Zn(S2COCHMe2)2.
-The ZnS film, formed by laserassisted CVD from the title Zn xanthate precursor is characterized by RBS, SEM and XRD methods. It consists of pure hexagonal polycrystalline ZnS particles of β 1 Β΅m diameter which are about 10 times smaller than those produced by thermal CVD. In situ gas phase photoluminescence measurements show the presence of Zn and S2 in the gas phase during photodeposition. The photofragmentation mechanism is discussed. -(CHEON,
