โฆ Synopsis
Phosphorus(V)-nitridimide HP4N7: Synthesis from a Molecular Precursor and Powder X-Ray Analysis with Synchroton Radiation.
-Phase pure HP4N7 is obtained as microcrystalline powder in 76.3% yield by pyrolysis of (NH2)2P(S)NP(NH2)3 at 750 โข C (sealed quartz ampoule, Ar). According to the powder synchroton XRD data and Rietveld refinement, the structure (monoclinic, P21/a, Z = 4) consists of a three-dimensional network of PN4 tetrahedra according to the formula 3. infin.((P(4)4N(2)5N(3)2)-) where the digits in brackets define the coordination number of P to N and vice versa. It is characterized by pairs of edge-sharing PN4 tetrahedra. From the powder XRD data, the H-positions could not be localized, but probable positions are proposed on the basis of structure chemical estimations. -(HORSTMANN,
