Abstract

The reaction applies catalytic amounts of Pd(OAc)~2~ and Cu(OTf)~2~ under oxygen atmosphere to afford symmetrical 2,2‐disubstituted biaryls that display a wide range of amide functionality and tolerates ortho‐, meta‐ and para substitution at the biphenyl rings.
