Abstract

Polyfluoroalkyl‐containing diketones (I) are treated with sodium nitrite in acetic acid to yield the corresponding hydroxyimino derivatives as intermediates, which are reacted with isoniazid (II) without isolation to provide the cyclic dihydropyrazoles (III).
