Synthesis and Preliminary Biological Evaluation.
-New analogues (XII) of the title hormone are synthesized as mixtures of two diastereomers, which are subsequently separated by reverse phase HPLC. The noncalcemic 1-hydroxymethyl group and the fluorinated side-chain, potentiating antiproliferative and transcriptional activities, are the reason for further in vivo biological evaluation of promising compounds (XII). -(POSNER, G.
