New Types of Heterometallic 3d-4f Rhomblike Core in Weakley-Like Polyoxometalates. -Cs3K4Na4[{Ce(OAc)}Cu3(H2O)(B-α-GeW9O34)2]•≈20H2O is synthesized from a suspension of K12[Cu4(H2O)2(GeW9O34)2], Ce(NH4)2(NO3)6, and CsCl in aqueous AcOH/NaOAc buffer solution (room temperature, 29% yield). The compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with Z = 2 (single crystal XRD). Its anion contains a central {Ce IV O 18 } rhomblike cluster belonging to a new type. The cluster behaves magnetically as a triangular Cu3 system whose overall antiferromagnetic exchange is affected by the structural distortions induced by the vicinity of diamagnetic
