Encapsulation of Silicon Nanoclusters in Zeolite Y. -Luminescent Si clusters are synthesized by chemical vapor deposition of Si 2 H 6 into the Ξ±-cages of H 32 Na 24 Y zeolite. Every cage contains 38 H atoms. Subsequent heating of the entrapped disilane precursors leads to the formation of Si cluster
