A New Phase of Oriented Mesoporous Silicate Thin Films. -Silicate/surfactant thin films of P63/mmc structure are grown either on mica or at air-water interface using a double-headed quaternary amine surfactant. Characterization by XRD and TEM shows that these films, which are stable to calcination,
