Lanthanide Bis[bis(1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propoxy)sulfonyl]amide as a Novel Effective Acylation Catalyst.
-Various title complexes are investigated as catalysts in the acylation reaction of alcohol (I) with Ac 2 O. The effect of solvents on the reaction time is also reported. The Sm-complex is used as catalyst in the reaction of a number of alcohols like (IV) and (VI) with Ac 2 O. La, Ga, and Yb analogues are also efficiently applied to the reaction of (I).
