✦ Synopsis
Ectyoplasides A-B -Unique Triterpene Oligoglycosides from the Caribbean Sponge Ectyoplasia ferox.
-The two novel isolated norlanostane triglycosides are composed of two identical sugar chains (two β-galactose units and one α-arabinose unit), but differ in their aglycone moieties, which possess nortriterpene skeletons with an unprecedented substitution pattern on ring A. Both compounds show moderate cytotoxic in vitro activity towards various cell lines.
