## Abstract A variety of cyclopenta‐fused naphthalene and phenanthrene derivatives (25 examples) are obtained by the palladium‐catalyzed reaction of 1,7‐diaryl‐1,6‐diynes with aryl halides through Cβ€”C coupling and Cβ€”H bond activation of the incorporated aryl group.
