Chiral Cations in 4 + 3 Cycloadditions.

-Chiral allylic acetal (I) reacts with furan in the presence of Lewis acids to give [4 + 3] cycloadducts with diastereoselectivities depending on the Lewis acid and the reaction conditions used.
