The presence of Ca 2+ has a marked effect on the reaction release of the phosphonate ligand as observed by NMR is significantly accelerated by the presence of Ca 2+ , which is kinetics of platinum phosphonate complexes with d(GpG). Compounds studied are [cis-Pt(NH 3 ) 2 (bmpaa)] and [Pt(R,S-ascribed
