Bi7RhBr8: A Subbromide with Molecular ((RhBi7)Br8) Clusters.

-Black platelets of metallic lustre of the title cluster, prepared from the elements at 1270 K, adopt the monoclinic space group P21/n with Z = 4 as shown by single crystal XRD measurements. In the structure RhBi7 form almost ideal pentagonal bipyramids. Bond structure calculations are discussed.
