-Thermal dimerization of N-[3-(1,2,2-trifluoroethenyl)-4-phenoxyphenyl]phthalimide yields a mixture of cis/trans isomers. X-ray diffraction analysis confirms the trans isomer (I) with puckered cyclobutane ring as major product. -(SWENSON, D. C.;
