-Rhodium-catalyzed hydroformylation of N-substituted alkenylamines in the presence of the bulky BIPHEPHOS ligand leads to formation of medium and large cyclic amines, e.g. (III), (V), and (VII). Important side reactions include hydrogenation, dimerization, and polymerization. -(
