✦ Synopsis

A conventional instrumentation based on batch procedure and a continuous flow analyzer for monitoring chemiluminescence and bioluminescence reactions are described. A possible development for measuring electrogenerated chemiluminescence would be the incorporation of the electrochemical flow cell in conjunction with flow injection analysis. The advantages of continuous flow analyzer for monitoring these reactions and the detector design are also discussed.

## Abstract This paper reviews the literature on analytical applications of flow injection (FI) techniques with chemiluminescence (CL) detection from 1995–1999. The focus is on the application of FI–CL to the quantitative determination of specific analytes in real sample matrices. Therefore, entrie

A flow injection chemiluminescent method is described for the determination of choline. The method is based on the production of hydrogen peroxide from choline using on-line covalently bound immobilized choline oxidase column. The product is mixed downstream and detected via the cobalt catalyzed che

A new flow injection chemiluminescence (CL) method has been developed for the determination of bisphenol A (BPA), based on the inhibitory effect of BPA on the chemiluminescence reaction between luminol and potassium hexacyanoferrate. Under optimum conditions, the decrease in CL emission intensity wa
