## Abstract The soft coral __Litophyton viridis__ contains the already known nephtenol and a novel cembrane diterpene whose structure has been established as 2‐hydroxynephtenol. The absolute configuration of (‐)‐nephtenol has been demonstrated.

## Abstract The structure and absolute configuration of 2‐desoxylemnacarnol (IV) and 2‐desoxy‐12‐oxolemnacarnol (V), two novel sesquiterpenes isolated from soft corals of the genera __Lemnalia__ and __Paralemnalia__ were established by chemical correlation with lemnacarnol [II].
