## Abstract A phytochemical investigation of the bulbs of __Crinum asiaticum__ L. var. __sinicum__ Baker resulted in the isolation of two new alkaloids, asiaticumines A and B (**1** and **2**, resp.), together with 21 known compounds, including nine alkaloids, four amides, five phenolic compounds,
